LEARN TO SWIM

We teach from the heart. And the rights of children are always at the center of our philosophies.

Our Learn To Swim program teaches the foundation of becoming a competent swimmer. Our signature classes feature uniquely small class sizes. Allowing for maximum one on one instruction, less waiting for their turn, and most importantly, progress you can measure and see. Children are grouped according to age and ability. And all students swim without a parent in the water. Boasting 8 different ability based levels. Catering to children who exhibit fears through to overly confident swimmers needing guidance. Your child will flourish in this intimate setting. Building a solid foundation of skills that will last a lifetime.

WITH TWO AGE GROUPS, STUDENTS ARE LEARNING FOUR LEVELS OF SWIM SKILLS WITH OTHER CHILDREN OF SIMILAR AGE AND ABILITY

LITTLE SNAPPERS

PRE-SCHOOL AGE 3 - 5

SNAPPY CROCS

SCHOOL AGED 5+

LEVEL 1

INTRODUCTION TO WATER
A gentle introduction to swimming lessons for those children who are nervous or scared or those who have never had lessons before. Our program is designed to guide, encourage and praise children while letting them move at their own pace. A proven method for introduction to water.

LEVEL 2

BREATH CONTROL & FLOATATION
For water familiar children who are starting to enjoy the stimulating activities that are part of their lessons. These activities will encourage the children to submerge happily and start to feel floatation. Tread water and safety is an integral part of this level.

LEVEL 3

INDEPENDENT MOVEMENT

LEVEL 4

INTRO TO FREESTYLE & BACKSTROKE
An exciting level that works on refining the child’s rudimentary kick and body position on the front and back. Correct pattern of arms in freestyle are developed prior to introducing side breathing. This is an important stage that requires correct kick, body position & pattern of arms to be mastered prior to the next skills being taught. Time to learn “Big Arms”. Tread water and safety remain an integral part of the lesson.
